Our company continues to grow and we need more people! We’re excited to announce that we’re looking to hire two more energetic, outgoing people to join our team. We’re hiring a Marketing Coordinator and another Help Desk Technician.Â

Marketing Assistant
TDCNet is a full-service IT and internet solutions company that provides computer and network support services to small and medium-sized businesses. We are a fast-growing small business that has been successfully using both traditional and Web 2.0 marketing techniques to grow our business.
The Marketing Assistant position is available as an internship for co-op for the first four months of 2010 with strong possibility of employment after that. The successful applicant will be working in our Markham office (at John/Woodbine Ave.) and assisting with a range of marketing initiatives, including:
- Direct mail;
- Newsletter writing and distribution;
- Online lead generation;
- Email campaigns;
- Web 2.0 communication, including using Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and other social media;
- Phone-based follow-up;
- Seminar and Webinar organization, marketing and execution.
Applicants must be great communicators, organized and want to work in a dynamic, small business environment.
This is a four-month internship or co-op position that will become a full-time position provided the successful candidate does a good job and becomes a valuable member of our team. Help Desk Technician
TDCNet is a full-service IT and internet solutions company that provides computer and network support services to small and medium-sized businesses. We are looking to add a Help Desk Technician to our growing technical team. The individual must have exceptional communications skills as they will be providing remote support to TDCNet’s small business clients. That includes:
- Taking initial telephone or email inquiries and troubleshooting and managing hardware, software or network problems;
- Remotely accessing client workstations and servers to perform regular maintenance and fix issues that arise;
- Providing remote support for Microsoft operating systems and programs as well other common small business applications;
- Providing troubleshooting and support for internet connectivity and email issues;
- Developing proactive recommendations for improving the functioning of client networks and technology;
- Utilizing TDCNet’s innovative remote monitoring and management system to help effectively manage our client networks.
This is an entry-level position suitable for a recent college or university graduate. Candidates should have some experience providing desktop support and a diploma or degree in a relevant field of Information Technology.
TDCNet uses some of the most advanced managed services tools to provide a superior level of client service. All members of our team are given extensive training in utilizing these tools and are provided with opportunities for training and certifications with our vendor partners, including Microsoft, IBM, Cisco and VMWare. Candidates should be willing to learn and want to work in a dynamic environment.
