I made a great discovery recently that has dramatically changed the way I work. What sort of IT miracle did I stumble across?

It was actually quite simple - I added a second computer monitor to my desk. I was thinking about doing this for a while as most of our team have two or three monitors. When I finally did it I was surprised at the difference it makes.

Everything is faster. I no longer have to fool around opening and closing (or minimizing) documents or programs. I can look at multiple things at the same time and easily write an email while I have a full-screen web page open because I now have dual monitors.

This may not sound like that big a deal to you, but try it out. It will change your work life too.

All you need to do is get another monitor and video card for your computer. You can get many LCD monitors for under $200 now so there’s really no reason why you shouldn’t do this.

Our techs comment regularly how it makes work easier for them and more productive. Now I know why they like it so much!
