TDCNet – Full service IT support and internet solutions

Why Host Your Website or Business Critical Servers With Us?

There are many hosting companies out there providing cheap service but you really do get what you pay for. Our clients turn to us for both webhosting services and computer/network support because they appreciate having one company that manages all their computer and internet connectivity needs. They know they don’t need to call two or three different companies who will either take forever to respond or fight over whose responsibility the problem is.

Whether it’s an emergency issue or they just need advice, our clients know our Help Desk is there for them to quickly address their needs.

About Our Hosting Facility

TDCNet provides hosting services through its facility in the most advanced data centre in Canada at 151 Front Street in Toronto. Our systems are set up to ensure maximum uptime, speed and security.

151 Front Street has 9 unique fiber-optic networks and more than 7,000 strands of fiber entering the building. Specifically designed to support telecoms, 151 Front Street has advanced power, cooling and security systems to ensure 24/7 operations. These systems include: 24/7 uniformed security guards and a man-trap at the entrance to building, a standby 325-ton centrifugal chiller and two 4000/5000 KVA transformers fed by dual underground 13.8 Kv feeder lines from fault-tolerant substations.

This makes our facility not dependent on the local power grid. To ensure uninterrupted uptime there are onsite, auto switched power generators and centralized UPS systems. During the 2003 North American blackout our servers never went down.

This facility is carrier neutral, giving us access to numerous Tier 1 bandwidth providers. Our connectivity is high bandwidth through redundant Tier 1 providers to ensure the fastest possible data transfers and eliminate the threat of network downtime.

Lastly, our facility also features raised floors and automatic fire detection and suppression systems to protect against fire and flood.

Our small business webhosting packages include the following:

  • 24/7 monitoring of uptime and response rates to make sure your website is always online;
  • FTP access to update web content so you can change your site as often as you need to;
  • Website statistics so you tell how many people are visiting your site and where they’re coming from;
  • PostgreSQL or MySQL databases, PHP Pages, CGI Scripts;
  • Up to three other aliases in case you have multiple domain names or multiple websites;
  • 24/7 technical support from friendly, experienced professionals.

We also provide co-location and dedicated servers

Some of our clients prefer to have their business critical servers and data hosted offsite in our secure facility. They benefit from having their servers on a lightning fast connection to the internet and ultimate mobility as their servers and data are available to securely access from anywhere.

These solutions are also important for business continuity. If something happens at your office – such as power outage, internet problems, fire, flood or theft – your business critical servers will still be online and functioning.

Call us now at 1-866-483-2638 or click here for a free audit of your website, servers and network. Without any obligation, we’ll give you our advice on the best way to set up your IT infrastructure.  We usually charge at least $300 for this service but are offering it free for a limited time to prospective clients as a way for you to get to know us.
